To give every child a safe space to practise money decisions through stories, characters and play.
The Dotle app is coming soon
Practise money choices.
Before they’re real.
Children learn what money is, but they rarely get to practise making decisions with it. So their first real money choices come with real stakes. We’re here to change that.
We teach children so many things. But when do we teach them about money?
In Dotle, children team up with five friends (Dot, Banku, Tagi, Givo and Gaino) to make money choices in everyday Indian moments: ₹20 at the kirana shop, a shagun envelope at a family wedding, or a sale that looks too good to be true.
Why we exist
A generation of children who have already made hundreds of money decisions before they ever handle real money.
Five habits, practised again and again
- Earn
Make things people want.
- Save
Keep money safe and make it last.
- Spend
Ask first: is it worth it?
- Give
Share with others and always be fair.
- Grow
Give money time to grow.
Why we’re building Dotle
Money lessons for children often feel like a lecture or a test. We think they should feel more like an outing with friends.
The money is pretend.
The choices aren’t.
Children see where every choice leads, so they learn what works before it really matters.
In the language you speak at home
Stories in English, Hindi and many other Indian languages.
Set in the India children know
The kirana shop, a shagun envelope, a sale that’s too good to be true.
